Throwback Thursday
This is my hubby and I at Sandestin several years ago! We are going back this summer and I cannot wait! However, I have GOT to lose weight before we go! I can't even think about getting in a swimsuit right now.
Through our fertility struggles, I gained weight. Then, I lost 47 lbs when I started acupuncture to help with fertility. And, even though I had lost that much, I still needed to lose more! Then I got pregnant and well, let's just say that pregnancy put those back on me! So, here I am trying to lose it all. I have lost 40 lbs since September. I need to lose at least 30 more to get to where I would LOVE to be. Haven't been there in a few years but it would be oh so nice to get there! I can do it. It just takes patience and discipline, which are sometimes hard! It's sometimes depressing because after having a baby, your body is just oh so different! I am eating at most 1000-1200 calories a day and exercising. I started going to spin classes three weeks ago. I used to love to spin so I am excited to be going again! Two years ago, I read the book "Made to Crave" and it really helped me with losing weight. I was in Lifeway a few weeks ago and saw a "Made to Crave" devotional and I immediately bought it! I love it and it helps me SO much!
Wright and I are just hanging out today. I am introducing her to new foods everyday and she is doing great with it! She ate oatmeal for the first time this morning! I made her scrambled egg and oatmeal and then gave her a little baby food granola and a little bit of a cutie orange. She is getting REALLY good at crawling now. She is exploring EVERYTHING!
I am so thankful that I get to stay home with her. It would be so hard to leave her everyday and miss all the things she does.
I judge cheerleading tryouts every year around this time and I have my first one tomorrow. Randy's mom will come stay with Wright at our house while I do that. She is always so willing to help keep her and I appreciate it. I have tryouts to judge the next 3 Friday's, which is great because I love doing it and love the extra money!
We don't have anything planned for the weekend. Just low key and I like it that way. It's nice to have Randy home with us on the weekends.
